There is so much to do here: hiking the valleys or clifftops; taking steam train rides through memorable vistas (including 'Heartbeat' country); fishing or just 'taking the salt air' on a boat trip'; sea swimming (for the brave!) and basking in the warm sunshine which can bathe our beautiful coastline.

A lovely historic seaside town. Whitby has a bit of everything, shops, beach, cafes, pubs, restaurants, abbey, museums, etc.
